Join Marwood Ltd., an innovative producer of premium forest products serving residential, commercial, and industrial construction industries across North America and Europe. With multiple operations in Atlantic Canada, we are currently looking for an IT HelpDesk Specialist to join our team in Tracyville, NB located just outside of Fredericton.
The IT Helpdesk Specialist provides first-level technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to users by troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- Managing ticketing system and ensuring a timely resolution by prioritizing and escalating tickets as necessary.
- Performing routine maintenance on IT systems and infrastructure.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of support activities and solutions.
- Training for end-users on IT systems and tools.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and user satisfaction and productivity.
Requirements:
- Information Technology Diploma
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL)
- Experience with desktop operating systems (e.g. Windows) and common software applications
- Knowledge of current technological developments.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast paced dynamic software development/support environments
- Strong analytical skills for problem solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail
