Join Marwood Ltd., an innovative producer of premium forest products serving residential, commercial, and industrial construction industries across North America and Europe. With multiple operations in Atlantic Canada, we’re on the lookout for a passionate individual to become a part of our organization at our Tracy location just outside of Fredericton, New Brunswick.

We are expanding our accounting department and looking for someone who wants to advance their career and build their future with us.

You will support the existing team with daily and monthly responsibilities that may include:

  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets and forecasts
  • Performing general ledger reviews
  • Account reconciliations or analysis as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Prepare and submit monthly tax filings including HST/GST and QST
  • Collaborate with external auditors to aid in the year end audit process

What you bring to the table:

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, maintain a close attention to detail, and the passion to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. An Accounting / Business Diploma / Certificate and a minimum of 2 years’ work experience are required. Pursuing a CPA designation or showing progress towards achieving it would be considered an asset.
