Join Marwood Ltd., an innovative producer of premium forest products serving residential, commercial, and industrial construction industries across North America and Europe. With multiple operations in Atlantic Canada, we’re looking for labourers to join our team at our Bedford, Nova Scotia location.
Position Available: Full-time Production Labourer
Our standard shift rotation comprises 4 weeks of day shifts (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am -4:30 pm) followed by 4 weeks of night shifts (Sunday to Thursday, 4:30 pm -2:00 am). Medical benefits and a RRSP become accessible after completing 9 continuous months of service. Additionally, upon hire, employees have access to our Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP).
Wage: $17.85/hr, Location: 1948 Hammonds Plains Rd
Key Responsibilities:
- Blends and applies materials for wood repair
- Maintains consistent pace throughout shifts
- Utilizes specialized tools and basic power tools
- Occasionally generates tags
- Wraps wood bundles
- Operates some equipment and machinery
- Skillfully organizes and stacks wood
What You Bring to the Table:
Successful candidates must be available for both day and night shifts and possess reliable transportation.We value a positive attitude and a keen interest in thriving within our dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
