We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Backup Shipper/Receiver & Yard Support professional to join our team and help keep our site operations moving smoothly.

Job Summary

This is not a desk job. If you enjoy physical work, technical coordination, and a fast-paced outdoor environment, this role is for you. As a Backup Shipper/Receiver & Yard Support, you will serve as a flexible, vital resource across multiple divisions at our Tracyville site. You will step in to support shipping and receiving operations, master our inventory systems, and contribute to general yard activities to ensure our products get where they need to go safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Jump in wherever needed most across multiple divisions to keep operations moving.
  • Direct vehicle loading/unloading, verify incoming product quality, and prepare materials for safe transport.
  • Utilize computer-based inventory control systems, including tagging and scanning, to maintain accuracy.
  • Work closely with supervisors and heavy equipment operators to maintain an organized yard and smooth workflow.
  • Act as the primary backup for key shipping roles, ensuring operational continuity, and assist with general yard support as required.

Job Requirements:

  • A quick learner who can switch tasks and adapt to changing division needs at a moment’s notice.
  • Comfortable using computer-based systems and scanning technology for inventory tracking.
  • High pride in accuracy, specifically regarding quality checks and product tagging.
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors and handle physical tasks in all weather conditions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts (including nights and weekends) and comfort with overtime during peak seasons.
